About

Current Initiatives

IPsyNet has three committees: programming, policy, and workshops. Representatives from member organizations are presently developing important initiatives in each. The programming committee encourages and promotes programming related lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex issues at national, regional and international psychology conferences. The policy committee is currently developing a statement about discrimination and stigma related to sexual orientation and gender identity. The workshop committee is currently developing a workshop to be conducted with psychologists and LGBTI advocates, to help the advocacy community integrate psychological knowledge in their work.
