Advocacy & Policy:
Media
A significant force for shaping public opinion and policy is the media. Psychologists with expertise in lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex issues have important, research and clinical experience- based perspectives to bring to public discourse that plays out in print, across the airwaves, through social media and other media platforms. They also have a story to tell about efforts to improve the health and human rights for sexual orientation and gender diverse people.
